Just a quick catch up and hello to Hypno and friends.

Well done on getting rid of your loan Hypno and glad to see things are going well with you, was in your neck of the woods at the weekend on a bargain weekend away courtesy of Travelodge which was very nice, such a lovely bit of the country, if not a bit flat for me!

Hope all the marathon preparation is going well.

Hypno - happy hols, I am sure you have earned it!

Shaun - children mean work. As long as they're out of nappies and sleeping through the night in their own beds by the time they get married, that's all that matters. Then the grandchildren start arriving......

Walshyboy - news on job front? Surely you will hear soon?

I have 2 daughters, one aged 8 (nearly 9) and one aged 2. They can both eat anyone under the table if you let them. I have to be very disciplined with them.:p

Well done on the Crown Hypno! :T

There is a thread on "up your income" about dooyoo - they are not difficult to do but they need to be good in order to get a decent number of "rates" which gives you points -you basically get 50p for writing a review, then 1.5p for each rate you get. You can cash in at £10 if you want an Amazon voucher, or at £50 if you want a cheque. I go for the cheque option because then I can colour in a square :D

If you do decide to investigate further - spend some time looking at other reviews that existing members have written. Also, don't churn out lots of reviews - it is a sure fire way of cheesing off the existing dooyoo community. Write one or two good quality reviews at a time that will get you noticed as a decent writer. Read and rate a lot of other people's reviews and they will likely rate you back, and you will build up a good reputation.

It is tempting to think that it is easier to do 20 quick reviews at 50p each, to get £10 amazon voucher, but if you want to be in it for the longer term, and get lots of rates from others, then take it steady! I am now just over £150 so it can be a nice extra, if you put the required effort in and are patient.
