Go Hypno! I do love the seet smell of payday! It helps even more that I get paid weekly... Apart from the finding rent for this week and not putting in your timesheet

No feedback just yet so that means that I didn't absolutely bowl them over and they're waiting for the other candidate. I know this because I've made similar delaying tactics to other candidates when I too used to place candidates in these types of jobs! Fingers crossed but I'm not too hopeful now. I would've loved the job but I always knew that making the jump into Financial services would be an extremely tricky one so we shall wait and see!

    Never mind!

Shaun, you must be a very devoted father as my folks used to get up an hour after I did so I had to make my own lunch! Ahhhhh, memories of simpler times...
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Morning shaun, and everyone else who follows!

my Crown means another £1.50, shaun, so always happy to get one - I was previously only a pound away from payout, so the crown took me over that level quite nicely!

I worked out last night that getting a National Express bus down to London will be cheaper than OH driving us down, when we go skiing. We will have 2 hours to hang around at Victoria, but that is worth making a saving for. So I booked those tickets online last night - one step closer to getting away :D

Walshy, I hope you hear one way or the other soon - fingers are still crossed!

  • Morning all,

Hypno - always saving :p . bet DH thinks its a fab saving idea - he wont have to drive and gets longer peace and quiet!!!!!!!

    Well done on the crown.

Walshy - fingers and toes still crossed, they may have other candidates but that doesnt mean they are good.

Shaun - perhaps you should try and be a hedgehog, then you can hibernate, hehe.

Off to find more tea and biccies...............

    Bye, Me x

Yes, OH is very much looking forward to 10 days of peace and quiet.....even the student will be home for the holidays. Perhaps he can do the ironing while I am away  :rotfl:
