starting off with baking trays and frying pans.........the mini loaf tins get a reprieve for a while!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

And......progress.......OH is talking about throwing out the saucepans and baking trays and starting afresh......perhaps my minimalist dreams are actually going to happen........
Your OH obviously gets more privileges and more of a say than my OH...if I wanted to get rid of anything like that in the kitchen my OH's opinion wouldn't even get a look in:rotfl: bless him

Ah, now the secret is just to make him THINK he has more of a say.......the reality is far far FAR different :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

eeew...just goes to show we're all different! my mirena (under exploritory with anathetic and a d&C) was a disater - in hospital 3 weeks, in so much pain on lots of morphine (the only bonus as you get to gp to happy lala land!) and being told "its not the mirena" - had it removed (against medical advice) and surprise surprise all ok...impant helps but not much...only thing left is hysterectomy but not quite given up on the prince yet...have debated mooncup but really is quite ikky me thinks!
as for the run I'd go for the irning too but the thats why I'm a weeble!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Mirena does me smashing! (and I am to a certain extent annoyed as I had just stocked up when I had it fitted!), morphine does nothing for me other than take the edge of the pain. I was actually tested for morphine in my system within 5 mins of having an injection and my system had already got rid of all of it!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well, what a "conversation" to have had just from me saying I was buying school shoes :rotfl:
I have done the scratchcards- got 20p on one.....I know, how lucky can one person get!
I am psyching myself up to go for a run in half an hour......currently at the "ugghh" stage
Today I am going to see Slumdog Millionaire courtesy of seefilmfirst, so am looking forward to that, and sometime today the student is coming home, so it will be nice to see her. One of my previous students sent a package of Norwegian chocolate to us that arrived yesterday - they know me sooo well
Right.....going to put the kettle on for another coffee before I run.......
Have a good day everyone xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning Hypno,
How lovely to get some chocolate sent...I bet you've got it well hidden
Good luck with the run, it's way too cold for me to even vernture outside. DH & DS have gone out to do some photographing, they had four layers each on.
Hope you enjoy the film, not to sure if I want to see that or not.0 -
Hi Hypno - I'm psyching myself up to go out in one and a half hours, to go to London for the day - and I'm *really* not looking forward to it, but I'm seeing a mate, so I suppose its good - it *will* be good, but it just looks so cold out there. Have a good one.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
