    It did take a couple of years for things to stop............and I had to go private to have it done........but eventually it was worth it!

    I have the Implanon and that stopped things immediately, no 40p parking to get to the drs for prescriptions or girlie products. Very MSE choice don't you think :rotfl:

    Unfortunately neither mirena or implanon is certain to stop the ... ahem .. well you know what I mean plus having witnessed a norplant (the five stick implant that never really took off) removal put me off implants for life :eek:

    Really?! I was offered mine by dr...but had it for nearly 18mths and no sign of anything stopping. Umimpressed!

    Mine cost £120 :eek: I was told it was covered by my private healthcare policy that I had at work, but after the event, they refused to pay out so I had to pay up..........but at least it got things sorted, and next time, I will be asking my GP instead......

    gallygirl, on the other subject......I am most impressed at the ironing!! You well and truly deserve that rest!
