I'm glad your mum is home, Surfbabe, and that your throat seems to be getting a little better.
I've just had to go and spend £70  on some new running shoes - mine were almost 4 years old and have lost all support so it was starting to hurt my hips due to the lack of shock absorbancy. So, it got to the point where I couldn't avoid the expenditure, and sadly cheap ones weren't right.
Oh well, it was needed, and I don't want to risk injury, so I will just take it and rework the budgets for the month.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I agree Hypno, you would be injured worse without the correct support and as they say in my part of the world,'you had your monies worth out of the others!! Pretty good value over 4 years really.
Will have to get back to doing my dooyou reviews as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

as for the run I'd go for the irning too but the thats why I'm a weeble!!
Loathe as i am to nip back on this subject, the same happened to me (we must be twins) I had a thermo balloon hystrectomy(not sure of the full name), no op scars(just anaesthetic) and the balloon is heated up in the womb.It destroys the lining and works a treat, is a miracle and very easy.Oddly enough the common concensus was that we tend to put weight on if there is a problem with heavy periods and will lose it easier after it is sorted out.
It was the best thing i ever did, and i tried everything but nothing worked.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Oh miz, you could have joined in the mirena conversation - mine is nothing to do with MEN - just to stop the monthly goings on that were making my life hell! I made OH get "sorted" shortly after DS was born :rotfl:
I need to re-visit matched betting......I think I will make it next month's challenge to myself.
Well there you go - MSE expands my horizons yet again - I didn't know they were used for that - might have to look into that then. Menopause can't come fast enough for me! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Definitely do revisit MB - and check all your accounts - though I doubt you'd be as disorganised as to leave hundreds of pounds just sitting there idle!:D0 -
I can be absolutely sure that there are no funds in any of my accounts - even betfair was cleared out in a skint moment!
I would have to start right from scratch which is probably what is holding me up as much as anything!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
All this talk of Mirenas and other things!
My mum had a Hysterectomy... Worst EXPRERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! Yes MY LIFE!!!
It may be my family but all my aunties that have had them have turned into complete psycho's as the hormones go out of whack! My mum had hers done and we couldn't go near her! It's like extreme pregnancy! :rotfl:
But as lon as we have moved away from those subjects! :j I went off to Maidstone last night... It's surprisingly nice! Apart from the town centre which is hell! But I liked going there. I went to uni in Canterbury and the furthest I went out of the town there in three years was Faversham (the next town along) and now I'm flitting in between london and Kent more often... It's a bit weird! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
Menapause is ok actually.
