    Juliejim Happy Birthday.

Boy am I glad this site has taught me to check off my statements, just spotted two transactions for £9.95 each grrrrrrrrrr both unauthorised.

Having rung up various people in relation to them, it seems that I bought something and 'agreed' to join a monthly subscription of £9.95 per month, as I bought some thing twice, it seems I have 2 subs per month (lucky me!!)

The company in question is not answering its phones today 'owing to a technical problem'

Managed to get my credit card company to take the 2 charges for December, but they say I have to pay November's, you wait till that company are taking calls, I have sent them a really snotty email.

I also did a forum search for said company and lo and behold it comes up with a large thread about others being caught out like me! I think I am going to forum search each company before I buy in future!

I want my £9.95 x 2 back it my money not theirs. grrrrrr

    Sorry ladies as you were.

Can you say who the company is, I never check my statements :o

Just seen this on the BBC website, a virus is targeting facebook users and obtaining credit card details. Please be careful on the links you are clicking there.

  • So I've been very good and got lots done today -

I stripped the bed and washed the sheets, vacuumed the mattress and remade the bed with clean sheets to finish yesterday's tasks. I got my evening class folder organised ready for class tonight, put the Xmas decs up and organised my photos. Discovered that I need to find spare bulbs for Xmas lights grrr!

[STRIKE]Clear and wipe table.. replace cloth if necessary[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Wipe and replace all small appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash down the cupboard fronts, kickboards and large appliances
    [/STRIKE]Sweep and mop floors!
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Clean out the smelly fridge.. defrost the freezer so it is clear to fill with chrimbo food![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe the hob[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wash down the paintwork![/STRIKE]
    Extras

    [STRIKE]Wipe/wash light fittings [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Scrub out the drawers and filters..[/STRIKE] TD, WM, DW, etc
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe window sills[/STRIKE]

Dusting left for OH so he doesn't feel left out lol
Also carried over grouting from yesterday

    And also need to-
    -post ebay stuff
-post Xmas cards I wrote last night
    -return library book due today

I've got my evening class tonight so don't have time to do anything else. Finding this thread really useful to keep up with chores. Otherwise I get distracted until there are no clean clothes or dishes in the entire house!

ooooo just got to say it's almost Christmas :D Radio Times is out, going to have a snoop through and then do some work before Pigpen notices :p

I got the week before Christmas one and there's not much in worth watching (well not stuff I'd be interested in anyway ). I hope the Christmas and new year one has some better stuff in it.
