Haven't caught up with the thread but went to physio and then supermarket, so I have a bit of home time now until I go and pick up kids.


Got a load of phone calls to make now that everywhere is open after lunch.

I've done half an hour of ironing! Which is in the dining room, and although it is desperately shameful to admit I can't do anything in the dining room until I process some ironing.

Well, I've had a complain at DD1's school... the french teacher wanted the class to write an ad for a dating column.. THEN.. she decided it would be recorded.. erm.. no I don't think so!! This is a class of 14 and 15 year olds.. I am so not a prude but I think it is completely inappropriate that a catholic school would encourage children to partake in adult context stuff like this. The girls cannot wear skirts above the knee but can advertise themselve slike a slab of flesh.. erm.. no..

Anyway, it can easily be adapted to be something else.. like a CV or suchlike..

Honestly, they get all uppity about stuff like the colour of the socks and claim to teach morality then do this.. anyway.. I got my snotty head on.. lol.. crazy thing was the teacher I spoke to.. used to be MY teacher.. lol.. I did refrain from saying.. 'well you were one of the very young teachers when we were there and 2 of my friends fancied you!'

chunky do what you would normally do - thats why she wanted home to be near you all and have things as near normal as poss - choose the card carefully but def still give her one and likee AnW's mum said could you do an early little christmas with her - she could linger longer and she would hate to think you have put everything on hold because of her. hugs for you all xx
