Well the morrisons trek was a lot easier than I expected. They were waiting for people at the checkouts. From dropping A&W at school at 8.45 I have been shopping, taken flowers to DH, got home and unpacked shopping all by 10am :D

Just had a coffee and caught up here, now need to decide on what to wear tonight and get A& W's cases sorted so they can stop at Mum and Dad's.

Need to send an email to my mate to see exactly who is going so I can make sure I have cards written.

I guess I have missed something (yet again) :o:o , being nosey now but where are you off to? and have a wonderful time.

Little bear is just absolutely wrecked when I put on the hoover. Managed to get two stairs hoovered, trying to show him that it was okay and look at the difference. I couldn't even get him to touch the little hand held hoover. It does say a lot about my housewifery, but I am now wondering how I get him past this.

And dear heart as soon as he had the last mouthful of tea disappeared on to the computer so I never got to have a go at the master bedroom  And he knew that I wanted him to hang around to keep an eye on little bear, so that I could hoover. I need to rethink my strategy.

Looking forward to cleaning kitchen, also my dining room is invisible under ironing so I shall be extremely busy today and happy for it. Also, as our house is a bit odd in layout it is a lot easier for me to work in the kitchen and dining room than in the master bedroom when looking after little bear.

    Hugs to all.

I am off for a Christmas meal/catch up with a load of girls that used to work at my branch. They have been moved to other branches. Really looking forward to it, should be a good gossip :D

A&W are going to Mum and Dad's for the night. Every time they sleep over anywhere they HAVE to pack a case each :rotfl: Mum and Dad are literally just round the corner and they are stopping just tonight! Then on Thursday they will pack cases again to go next door :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Update on the MIL situation. I rang and said A&W could come up after school on Friday (I shall be at work - shame :o ) but she said no they were going out. So I said no probs what about Sunday 'Yes ok if you like. You can drop them off and pick them up later' I meant we would all go up (and we will). Said do you want to see A in the nativity at school, I'll pick you up. She said 'no it's too much rushing around and you don't know what the weather will be like':mad::mad: Better not tell you what I thought at that point! Didn't even bother asking if they wanted to come to the church nativity. So all in all their loss not mine.

AnW's mum - absolutely, their loss, don't waste time on it.

I found it hard to accept at first that my MIL was not in the slightest interested in our children - only her DD's children. When she found out she was ill, she said on the phone that she wanted to move closer so she could see the grandchildren every day - I nearly had a heart attack on the spot until I realised that she meant nearer her DD and her children! I don't think it ever crossed her mind that she had six grandchildren rather than three...

    Have a great time tonight!

Brilliant sunshine here today, and I am home as I said no to work, as I felt so unwell when they rang. On the plus side, the kitchen is sparkly, and I want to get the rest of the ground floor done today, and also the cards and some shopping. Two parcels already arrived this morning - one of them my present from OH - which I chose - just showed him the website and said put your credit number in there! Just having :coffee: and a jaffa cake - anyone else want one before I finish the packet?

lil_me - I really can't put it better than pigpen.
