Irish pork recalled

Just heard very intersting radio brodcast on radio 4... Basically it summerised that even if you were to eat this so called contaminated pork, to eat the amounts required to cause risk to your health you'd be more at risk of Heart attack from collestrol than from the PDB's..
Are we as consumers being stitched up by the government and these health freaks who come onto TV? Why doesn't someone ask them to explain why a limit was set on these toxins? If we can safely eat 200 times the set limit, why was the limit set so low? who set it?
Me thinks Strasbourg is behind it, sending a strong message to the Irish government to sort out the Irish referendum, meanwhile giving the EU more control over our affairs.0 -
good news for our farmers and those who have lost out
Arlene Foster and Michelle Gildernew are seeking compensation from the Dublin Government.

Yeah that's only because the British Government don't give a !!!!!! about the Agricultural & Food Processsing Industry and won't make any effort to compensate. It's the biggest employer in the private sector in Northern Ireland.
Yeah great Idea Tony & Gordon... Lets let our manufacturing & agricultural industry decline into wreck & ruin and concentrate on the financial sector... because they're a Safe Bet and will make us loads of money!! well done!!
People complain and make snide comments about farmers being compensated when these diseases break out but it's not their fault... they didn't contaminate the food... It's only right that they are compensated for their losses.Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0
