Irish pork recalled

On the news im sure you have seen Irish pork has been recalled due to chemicals in the pig feed.
Not too much is being said about what customers should do....are the shops offering refunds on products? Even small amounts are being taken off shelves eg on pizza toppings-that sounds quite serious to me if even a small amount has the possibility to harm.
Any thoughts?

I'm still unclear if this affects products from NI producers and cannot seem to find a conclusive answer to this question. The Dept of Agriculture NI website appears not to be aware of this issue at all. If NI is affected, it will just about finish off some of our local producers - Stevensons in Cullybackey in particular.

I think I saw on the news that the dodgy feed had been used by some pork producers up here.

    Cheers, Des.

I imagine the people who partook of the full pig spit roast at St Georges Christmas Market this weekend are a bit green about the gills with this news.

So glad I passed that one up though I was very tempted!!!
I'm more concerned about my freezer full of sausage casserole, pork casserole and 6 packs of bacon!! Should I just bin the lot?? So much for my super frugal meal planning!
