Lidl Thermostatic Shower £14.99

Sorry wasn't meaning to sound harsh about the low pressure feed!0

Separate taps would be very unlikely, as they are another peculiarly British thing (due to the different pressures of hot and cold water with the traditional system). By the way, "Lidl" is not an abbreviation so doesn't need to be capitalised.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Been to Lidl this afternoon; they still had a number of each version, but on reading the box it quite clearly says for use with instantaneous heaters only, & not suitable for use with a storage tank - so I left it.0

got myself a shower head and raiser, really wanted the shower but on looking at it i realised that it wouldnt fit in place of my other one without getting in a plumber :doh:0

The box says not suitable for hot water storage systems. My hot water is supplied from an immersion heater tank - does that mean its not suitable?
I've opened the box and the instructions inside say it is suitable for hot water storage systems but not very low power boilers so I should think it will work ok.0 -

Just for reference for anyone thinking of buying this but hesitant because they might be worried that the pipes on your current setup won't line up with the inlets in the mixer.
There are two 'S' shape adapters which can be rotated and so vary the distance of your current pipework to match the distance on the mixer (150mm)
Very thoughtful setup!
Cheers
