Are Aldi doing them also? Original topic concerns the Lidl one. I think you will find that the width between the inlets should be standard on all metric mixer fittings, however if your replacing an old imperial mixer then chances are there will be a difference when trying to line it up with your pipes.

Picked up 2 this morning, big queue by 9 am for only 10 showers! Picked up 2, 1 for me, 1 for ebay to pay for mine!
Quality looks good!0 -
I picked one up at 9.30. Shop was deserted. A bit disappointed to find the shower head and hose is not included but they sell one for 7.99 so got one of those.
The box says not suitable for hot water storage systems. My hot water is supplied from an immersion heater tank - does that mean its not suitable?0 -
Assuming the tank is fed from a cistern above, so is low pressure (you can easily hold your finger over the hot tap to stop the water flow), then I'm afraid it can't be used, or it won't work at all well. It is unlikely that the valve would be compatible with the unusual plumbing we often have in the UK. On the continent, everything is fed straight from the mains at high pressure.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Thats not true. they do work with a normal tank & cylinder system. You may find you want to install a pump to improve the pressure though0

Got to my Lidl and saw various plumber vans outside. No surprise that there was nothing left but toilet brushes! I guess the early bird gets the worm? I needed a tap for my sink desperately and will have to pay at least 4 times as much to get one now!Regards

I was only going on the earlier poster's reference to the instructions, which said they would not work in these situations.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
Are there any complementing single hot/cold bath taps available anywhere ? I see LIDL's is a combined (single-hole) type.
