No it comes with absolutely everything you need: screws, shower head, house, soap dish, rail etc.
  • Having bought a mixer tap for my kitchen from Lidl about 4 months ago, I can safely say I will never buy plumbing stuff from them again. My tap, which was fitted by a plumber, lasted all of 2 months before it stopped working properly. It corroded really quickly and the quality was crap. The washers inside the mixer perished too. I ended up having to get a new mixer tap from B&Q to replace it.

Sad to hear it. What was their response when you returned it as they usually have a three year warranty.

They refused to do anything because I'd already chucked the receipt away. Thing is, as I argued with them at the time, they know when they had these taps on sale. They know I couldn't have bought it before then. I still had the box, but that didn't matter to Lidl. No receipt, no refund.

You don't legally require a receipt to return goods. Ask your CAB about it or Google.

Just to note when I posted this it was for the thermostatic shower unit, which I bought last time they were on offer and it has been brill. I am surprised that the taps you mention cause problems, but if they come back on offer again I know how I would get my money back!
  • Genius Brad sheer genius.. i say that as i was thinking the same myself :)

I bought the taps when they were on offer last and they have been brill. i m going to buy the shower unit this time.. it is a mega bargain

    Hi Gromit,
I know you don't need a receipt to return goods, but you do need to be able that you bought the items from that store. You also need to be able to show when you purchased the items. Problem is, I paid cash. Can't prove a thing.
