What a lovely way to treat someone that comes here for advice a certain smiley comes to mind :easter_os

The original poster is a interfering busy body who wants to learn that there are more important things in life than giving a neighbour grief over what is parked on their own drive. I can think of a gesture for you but I will refrain from purile thoughts.
I personally think they need medical help if the sight of a Van sends them into so much mental pain.
I suggest they move to a remote Island but then again they will probably complain about the wildlife.

Vans parked directly outside your window are a nuisance - You have my every sympathy - This happened to me a while back and all I could see from my lounge window was one LARGE VAN which completely blocked my view. arghhhhhhhhhhhhh I would have preferred to park my little car outside MY OWN house rather than them park outside my house.

The way I see it is this... The space outside MY house... MINE to park in... The space outside THEIR house... THEIRS to park in... easy no???

Having said that... They really were lovely neighbours, really nice people, so I wouldn't have dreamt of saying anything but it was a bit annoying at times.

I had a neighbour just like you who thought he owned the space outside his house.
He used to put obstacles there to stop people parking there, he was politely asked not to do this but persisted.
The solution was to use the Law against him and one Court appearance and expensive fine later he stopped.
Moral is we all have to live with other people and they do not always do what we want but that is life.
Live your own then let others live theirs.

i rose above it, and didn't complain about my neighbour parking his hi-roof transit outside our house as it doesn't do me much harm. today he came round to moan about our dog whining and keeping him awake when we leave her and go to work (c.8am). I advised him that we are providing him a free alarm clock now he's an out of work bricklayer who needs to get up and sign-on. ironically he has no use for this van now, can see it on ebay shortly! Karma has a funy way of sorting your problems out for you...
I am a building surveyor and will provide advice based upon what you tell me. It is just that, advice and not instructions. Based on the fact you're getting it for free expect it to be vague! :D
