That's an amazing price by any stretch of the imagination for a house in the south east. Does the area have a mainline station into London? pretty impressive find.

Its ugly though & very narrow:eek:

And right up against the street.

But an amazing price for the south east.

'this property is situated less than a mile from town/station and offers potential for improvement.' (Waterloo, via Gravesend I think)

    Wakey, wakey!

Hey, you aren't thinking of this as a crash pad for DH, surely?:rotfl:

Too far out, sadly, :( late night work provided taxis have an M25 boundary : but a fantastic deal for a more regular houred commuter:

I'm not sure about the area - docklands not far off. Nice SE aspect over a primary school playing field and the parking looks OK. Reasonable garden too.

The elevated railway 100m away might be an irritation, but there'd be a good bit of background hum from all the major roads circling the area. AFAIK you get used to all that stuff after a week or two; in fact I used to like the sound of the taxis when I lived in London.

    Not now though!;)

I take it static homes don't count? Cheapest I can do that is a proper "house" is 75k.

There's a couple of modern 3/4 beds for £160k though, wish I had a deposit!

That the nature of terraces: narrow and on the street. Terraces can be pretty, despite being narrow. The one to the right is not hideous, and if you imagine this, front repainted, change the windows to somehting more ''traditional/in keeping'' and a window box, suddenly you've got a very pretty terraced cottage. Neighbours might pick up the idea in the future and do the same. If not: you still live in a two bed house, not a flat share somewhere grimey, or a studio. :)

In side, a bit of good planning, IMO, good be a not uncomfortable property.

The rail way line is a wretch, I agree Davesnave. But, for example, my dad's house is in a very ''premier'' area with no tube noise and off a main road, but you here sirens all night long from police cars. Very disruptive. Thank goodness for triple glazing. What I'd deem ''acceptable'' inside London is very different from what I'd consider outside!
