well, after a long, exhaustive shift, I can report that almost EVERY tesco will have misprices
ANYTHING that is tescos finest, and has a varying weight (i.e. not every pack is the same weight/price), there will a misprice, check the price labels on the packs, OLDER stock has the old (wrong) price

    wrong SEL's
    normal 'on the bone' beef
    normal pork joints
    normal lamb chops
    normal lamb fillets

    cheeses (all finest ones)
    finest butters

finest gammon steaks (honey and the apple ones)
    finest ribeye beefsteaks
    finest rump beefsteaks
    finest smoked bacon joint
    finest silverside joint

    finest thin cut ham
    (wiltshire, honey, and roast beef)

walkers crisps - 2 for 1.50 or 3 for 2.50 two offers, only lowest works

    phew, £150 refunded total :-)
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Lots of meat around as other Dudes have pointed out.

My local T's had various end of aisles bursting with meaty offers including:

    (All prices per kg)

British/Irish Beef Silverside £4.8ish SEL £6.4ish on label
Pork Joints £2.69ish SEL £3.69 on label
Whole lamb, leg, for the use of £4.49 SEL £5.99 on label

CS tied to wriggle out of the Beef - trying to differentiate between British and Irish joints.

Grumpy CS gave in after Meat Manager confirmed I was in the right - and he thanked me - so he should

    Get some,

    Duder

Can I just say to check ALL of the Finest products as I had a really good selection, too many to list, where they had missed the sticker or yellow SEL. BUT if you can make a note of the price and choose a nice SA who will check the prices as they go through so you can make sure of what you are buying. I had a couple of things where the 20% WAS deducted at the till but there was no mention at point of sale. Also the turkey stir fry strips are still wrong SEL £1.49 - pack £1.99. The Finest mistakes confused the CS lady for a while. Also my regular CS lady said 'hello' to me as she was leaving the store after her shift!!
DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!
  • Just came back from Tesco Metro, Islington Green, London. Lots of Finest cheeses and sliced ham are showing at the full price per kilo on the packaging and scanning through at the incorrect full price, not the 20% off price on the side of the shelf.
Unfortunately Finest raw meats are showing at full price but scanning at 20% off price.
Manager apologised and gave refund with no problem - £55! thankyou Tesco!

God knows how many people are getting overcharged though.

Fresh standard turkey crown - big yellow sticker boasting that they are now 20% cheaper than xmas 2005. Shame they frorgot to take the reduction off!!

I was not in my usual tescos and had the 3 kids with me, 1/2 hour and much deliberating they decided that it was an overcharge r and r £11.29.

I pleaded ignorant and said that i thought that the 20% would be deducted at the till (like it was on the clothing last week!!)
