Tesco Broughton- North Wales- all finest cheeses I could see weighed by the kilo were not discounted by the 20% reduction shown in shelf price compared to pack. Pack price charged and full refund plus product, total £17 worth of cheese (yum)! Didn’t try the pots of cheeses as thought they would be more likely to be discounted. Shelf prices as far as I could see weren’t brought back to cust services desk so worth a try if anyone is heading that way. Good luck, hope you get some…

P.S. watch out for the meat- even if pack doesn’t show discount, all the ones I chose went through as reduced.

    Finest didnt work for me!

SEL was less than pack price and after 15 minutes deciding on if it was the correct product (Oak Smoked Pork Loin) they would only give me the 20%. By then my frozen food was defrosting so gave up! While I was waiting two other customers were complaining about other items and they were only given the difference too!!!

I am no longer a Tesco R & R virgin. I bought a big leg of lamb. SEL was (I think) £4.49 but still £5.99 per kg on label. Paid £14.54 and got full refund. Sales assistant very helpful but did remove the sels! Will enjoy this on Easter Sunday.

In Aldershot, got 2 large Finest Rump Steaks, still had full price on label £9.48/kg, not reduced by 20% to £7.58/kg shown on SEL. R&R with a smile!
  • Just relieved Tesco Newton Abbot of £28 worth of Finest Cheese, including Parmagiano Reggiano, Comte, Swiss Gruyere, Spanish Manchego and Mature Dutch Gouda - R&R with a wry smile!

Just need to find some R&R wine to go with it now!

    Last night I picked up:-
    1) Fresh Ribeye Steak, SEL £8.?? per kg, £10.99 per kg on pack.
    2) Fresh Whole Large Chicken, large SEL £1.80 per kg (1.80kg-1.99kg), other SELs showed £1.92 per kg, all chickens priced up at £1.92 per kg.
    3) Nestle Pizazz, small box, SEL £3.19 (reduced from £3.99), scanned at £3.99. Both prices are criminal for the amount of chocs you get, but for nothing I'll happily consume them. Thanks to the OP who previously mentioned the overpriced chocs.

Young lady in CS (bless her, not realising I was a regular R&Rer) consoled me on my misfortune, being overcharged on all this stuff. She was on her own and was hesitant to check the SELs herself, so I volunteered to pick them up for her. No problem to me. Apology and £14.23 refund from CS.
