British topside beef for roasting - 4.86 £/Kg SEL (out of date) sticker on packaging said £6.48 £/Kg!!!!

Got my first R&R today at Tesco on Abbeydale road in Sheffield. CS argued that it had been put back on the wrong although there were 3 more incorrectly priced joints on the same end! In the end CS said he couldn't be bothered to argue with me and gave me my first R&R - WOOHOO!!!!!

Just been to my local Tesco and got R&R :

Tesco Salmon Steaks (pack of 7) SEL per Kilo was 99p cheaper. R&R 7.81 no probs.
Jug Kettle (we bought for our caravan) SEL 4.44 charged 9.99. Nice surprise!


Also saw (but did not buy)

Edam cheese. Quarters I think. SEL cheaper per kg.
Childrens ready milk (Cow and Gate small cartons) had two SELS. Might be worth a look.
Sudocrem (sore bum cream) SEL 4.44, price pack 5.99.
"Value" Toaster, two SELS. 4.44 and 4.78. Worth a look?
Grapes, 2 signs up, one cheaper than the other.

Tesco Cumbernauld today. 410g £3.19 packs of special buy chicken breasts are on BOGOF. There are other special buy packs that are 450g and are also £3.19 so I assumed that these would go through BOGOF too. We didnt even think to check but I was reading the receipt when we were driving out of the car park and noticed that they hadnt went through as BOGOF so went back in to Customer Services. They were very pleasant about it but the girls on the desk didnt think it was the same stuff but the meat guy checked it and printed off a new label for that product and it came up as the BOGOF one. He said all special buy was one BOGOF so it should have been too. R&R no problem. Dont know if they did put up a new label for it or not but could be the same problem elsewhere.

Youngs Frozen Lemon & Pepper crumb Fish Fillets variety reduced to 94p or 98p per pack and the BOGOF shown on the small yellow SEL isn't working. (Sheffield Abbeydale). :j

Disney Fairies book - The Trouble with Tink stickered at £2.96 but scans at £2.97. The other title in the same range scanned at £2.96 though (can't remember what it was called, but it was shrink wrapped with free charm bracelet as well).

Also keep seeing Roald Dahl's Charlie & the Chocolate Factory poss misprice - all Roald Dahl books are stickered at £3.97 but I've seen two SEL's in stores for C&TCF at £3.73, but not managed to find it in a store where there is a book, a SEL and a self scanner, so haven't tried it to see what it scans at.

Also found new stock of Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, stickered £3.73, scans £4.97

20% of all finest meats starts today.
finest scottish sirloin steaks and finest scottish ribeye steaks had not had there prices changed.
there was some new packs with the right price.
but many were not we got 4 packs of sirloin and 2 packs of ribeye.
£30 refund and the ticket changer got told off,but she said they were not down on her sheet to be changed. :j

Easter pencils with toppers (erasers?) SEL 77p, priced on box & on wrappers 67p. Scanned @ 77p.

All R&R'd no fuss.
