A word of warning on the 20% reduction (and similar promos)

If the item does not have a £/kg on it (ie is a std wt eg 200g), the reduction will be applied (via the computer), and no R&R.

If however the item is what's called a 'pack weight' ie is a variable weight with a £/kg applied, then the 20% off will NOT be applied at the till, and you'll be up for an R&R (provided the £/kg is the old one.

Just to add that it's worth working out the 20% off,my last r+r on some finest mature cheddar was £9.23kg reduced to £7.43kg,not alot but still a 4p overcharge,no problem with r+r,also Edam wedges £7.39 sel £7.49 pk :rolleyes:

Finest British Beef topside roast £/kg 7.29. Looks like new stock coming through as the £/Kg of the 20% Off finest promotional packs is 6.88 down to 5.50. Good old Mr T, putting prices up higher than they were before.

R+R no problems

SEL £3.00 kg - pack £3.13 kg.

I've developed a taste for entire legs of lamb or whole cows for my dinner - but I hope this helps some chicken-loving Dude.........

r+r today for british beef topside sel at 4.?? per kg pack 6.48 per kg (more on shelf)

and

finest creamy cheese, 20% not taken off.

These are my first two, and I found them all by myself :j. Think from now on tho if there is a misprice like this that everyone keeps getting, I will go to a store I don't usually shop at as I am always in my usual one and don't want to get banned!!! then I don't mind being greedy either.

Tesco Edam Quarters, SEL £3.74/KG, pack £3.79/KG.

Honey Glaze Gammon in Box, SEL £2.98, pack £3.98.

Finest Roast Beef Slices, SEL yellow ticket reduced from £21.50/KG to £17.50/KG, however pack shows £2.15/100g. Had these at 3 different stores, lots of beef sarnies this week then!

Tesco Medium Chicken @ £2.25/KG, however chicken weight fell into price bracket of Large chicken (£1.92/KG). A bit of a hoohar over this one, but full refund.

£45 refunded with praise from two CS bods, for pointing out overprices, to help other customers - might pay them another visit!!!!

Be warned:

Book James Patterson Honeymoon price on sticker £2.96, scanned at £3.73, but at tills op keyed sticker price in manually. Maybe they will start keying in stickered books/dvds etc.. from now on??

Looks like the full priced Beef (Irish) is being mixed in with the Beef on Offer (British), the SEL only says Fresh Beef as the CSA tried to make that the offer only applied to the British Beef

Still got a £18.76 R&R
