    I've been Money Tipped!
Lemon and garlic chicken in bag £3.99 charged, £2.99 SEL
Turkey healthy living quick cook steaks £7.22 per kg charged, £5.22 per kg SEL.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
  • This is my first post so hope I'm doing this right! You guys are great on here - go my first R+R yesterday - 2 packs of lamb joints and rosemary (foil packs). Thanks to the person who recommended - sorry not sure how to find you again.

Another R+R today - bought 3 bottles of beer (2 x Goliath Ale 660ml and 1 McEwans Champion) - should have been £1.54 each or 3 for £4. No discount came off. CS refunded reluctantly after I demanded duty manager - they said I shouldn't have mixed them but SEL didn't mention this (just lists the beers on offer) and I argued it was v. misleading (PS discount does come off if you buy 3 of the same brand). Manager agreed and refunded. This is so cool!

At New Oscott today there was loads of Sirloin Steak priced at £11.30/kg, while the SEL was £10.98/kg. Filled my boots, needless to say.

Also had the Finest Parmesan priced at £17.08/kg, SEL special offer price £14.99/kg. Got some, even though we haven't finished the last lot yet.

Had no problems at all with the R&R. Unlike my daughter at a different store, but that's a story for another day. Will post the story when it's resolved.
  • Florence & Fred range thin V neck jumpers. Marked half price but went through at full price of £7.

had to drive 15 miles to next town on business so popped into Tesco

Leg of Lamb SEL 4.99kg Label 5.99
Ultimate Dirty Dancing CD poster 4.99 SEL 9.77 Scan 9.77
    Total Refund £23.88
cs tried to fob me off on the cd - but i stuck to my guns!
  • Tesco Riverside Dundee Went in tonight to buy my son X box game for his birthday- above them was a poster saying "X-Box games under 29.97" Under that "the top 15 games" and then a list of the top 15 games.
3 of them - Half life , 50 cents and James Bond were all sel £32.97 which was the price I was charged when I went through the till. I queried the price which they checked then got an assistant manager to check who said I had picked it up wrong, that only some of the games were under 29.97. I then asked for a manager who immedately took the poster down and okayed my refund. (i had politely argued that all the ps games were under 25.00 as stated on that poster and all the other posters said "from". R&R = £65.00. I'm only sorry i didnt get the 3 games!

  • Last night picked up two packs of 400g Tesco Healthy Living Skinless Chicken Breasts, SEL £2.38, but packs were a mixture of £2.38 and £2.97, but I chose the latter.
CS tried to fob me off because the barcodes differed (which I already knew) but I argued that the packs were identical and there was only a SEL for the cheaper packs. Refunded in full for those, as well as the customary Lemon & Garlic (SEL £2.99, pack £3.99).
Tried to get a four-pack of Tesco unsmoked bacon (£3.98 SEL, pack £4.42) but watched the till put it through at the lower price. Told the checkout girl I'd changed my mind and handed the bacon back (sorry for pun).
  • an old favorite health skinless chicken breast 4/5 in pack SEL 6.00 kg pack was 7.50 kg two packs refunded
    Another day another R&R
