do you ask at the counter? cause they dont advertise

i complained to CS about a branch which gave me the wrong food, cold and burnt. no reply either. seems a shame such a good chain isnt v good CS. maybe its worth complaining to the branch as its a franchised resturant?

With my loyalty card, I tried to claim a free half chicken and free whole chicken at two different branches, without spending much else.

In both cases they said that there was a minimum spend of £4.95 before claiming the free chicken.

I pointed out that the minimum £4.95 spend related to getting the stamps in the first place, not actually the claiming the freebies. It says on the loyalty card under the "whole chicken" stamp that "you don't have to buy anything".

    Has anyone experienced anything similar?

me and the missus have been doing this, pay separate, sit at the same table, trick for around a year. weve already been thru 4 loyalty cards.

    heres our tips:
-of course, pay separate for the meals
-get 1 drink, instead of 2, just share, weve eaten there around 60 times and never been asked once why (pizza hut did on a 1st visit this year).
-get them stamped straight, if you use your stamp to get a free 1/4 of chicken.....from one of the loyalty cards........just wait and at the end get another to get on your way to another free chicken..

and what ever you do.....DO NOT....i repeat DO NOT get any beer from them...
£2.95 for one Brahma is what I pay for FOUR at Asda. Even chikier, take the brahma bought from a 1/4th of the price in your girls handbag with bottle opener, make sure no ones looking and pop that little baby open, now drink it like normal on your table.

I still cant believe it £2.95!!!!! I actually think 4 Brahma is £2.85 in supermarkets.

There are a number of Nando's in the Birmingham area. To my knowledge they ALL give a 20% discount (certainly the ones I use) to any member of the NHS or Emergency Services..Police, Fire, Ambulance. Like the loyalty card, they dont openly advertise it, but if you show your ID card, they slice a whopping 20% of the whole bill which makes a big difference to the total  I am not sure whether this is a local thing or nationwide. If you are in the above professions, it is certainly worth asking when you go.(dont forget your card).

    Cheers.

My mate works for the Met and he says he gets 50% off. Not sure if it is a London thing or a nationwide thing but that's what he says

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

    That's just plainly dishonest.
