    Darragh,

I'd suggest Pigsback is a bit more honest. For example:

    - pre-Xmas, there was a lot of annoyance about lack of points from the advent calendar and quizzes. The "optimistic" view is that Pigsback was just incompetent (teething problems?). The cynical view is that you were giving a little with one hand (the advent) and taking away a lot with the other (quizzes). The advent did not deliver a new "pressie" each (week)day. Despite the number of complaints made, the problems weren't fixed; so I subscribed to the cynical view.

    - I absolutely agree that its a commercial decision about how many points can be earnt free and how many you give for "shop & earn". We found out about your change in strategy in December from e-mail responses by Rachel to our complaints. Why didn't you do a "Stop Press" notice on your home page?

    - If you want to leave us guessing as to when click-thorughs and quizzes etc will apear, that's your decision; this will obviously increase site traffic in the short-run as people keep on logging-in to check whether there's anything new up. But tell us this is what you're going to do.

    - Don't state that "Every PiggyPoint is worth 1 pence". It isn't - you try redeeming points for CD-Wow vouchers. You could be reported to Trading Standards for a misleading description.

    - Don't state "Your PiggyPoints will be credited within x days" (eg Intrepid Travel). That suggests that it could be quicker, and creates an expectation that isn't true. "Please allow x days for your PiggyPoints to be credited" (eg Carphone Warehouse) is more honest.

Not sure if this is what you want for your presentation. PM me (or e-mail me; you'll have my e-mail in your records) if you want me to clarify further.

PS. I don't know anyone who's actually received the Squeezy Pig that they won in the Advent Calendar.

PPS. I'm still waiting on points for Cyberslotz registration, Snapfish registration and printing, Intrepid Newsletter, and Totally London Newsletter. Also, I didn't get any points for my last CD-Wow purchase (though I've given up on that).

Ohhhhh fireworks. Haven't checked this thread for a while. Not sure what the 'issue' is this time but I'll be honest and say that I have moved my attention to different cash back sites (mainly quidco at the moment). I still visit on Monday's to get the clickthroughts, but no more often than that, as I don't see the point (nothing useful on the site for me...retailers highly limited, and generally ones I use once very now and then)

I have made my comments about pigsback in the past, and I don't see the point in repeating myself now. The best way for people with problems to voice their opinions with any commercial organisation has always been...and will always be....to vote with your feet.

Not "fireworks" as such or an "issue" - Pigsback are havving a company awayday, and Darragh is presneting on "Putting Customers First" or words to that effect. He asked for ideas, with the offer of 100points for good (&usable) ideas.

Agree with your sentiments - if you're not happy, move on (unless of course, you've already spent money, in which case complain long and loud to get a refund/compensation)

Understand now. This thread can get so big at times its hard to work out where things started. To be honest I don't think that he really needs to make a specific offer for information as most of us have commented on what we like and what we don't like previously. All he needs to do is to go back through previous threads.
