darragh, how about a cute pink handbag in the rewards with the pig on it? and for the blokes a hat with pig?

how about more for kids, as in an easy game for them to play, falling pigs or something along those lines.

or a competition for a made up quote, involving animals of the pink variety?

    just a thought

  • Hi Darragh, How about an automatic acknowledgement system when an email is sent - even better if it had a tracking number so that we could get back to pb if no reply made. Not sure how logistical this would be or if viable cost wise. A choice of reward vouchers including argos, tesco, luncheon vouchers, boots. Following on from Icefalls suggestions, how about a piggy jigsaw for the kids?
  • cheers. I have just done it. I am really happy I only joined on Sunday and I have already 750points!

automated email would be great. i am so fed up with sending out emails to your company, with no response. i feel ignored and hurt. Still no repliy about my missing squeezy pig.

And i agree - Tescos/Argos/Sainsburys/boots and Luncheon vouchers should be available, you will need to stock up on these vouchers heavily.

Also as mentioned before, changing the website so we can see how many stocks you have left of each voucher, and also when the next batch is arriving. that would probably stop many people from getting annoyed.

Some great ideas and suggestions here.

But I ask myself, "Why are we being asked about this when Pigsback has been running successfully in Eire for some time now?"

Darragh, haven't you already gone through the teething troubles there? I mean, with software saying where people live? With comps not appearing on schedule? With points tracking systems? With email systems? With the kinds of rewards that members want?

A look at the Irish site will reveal its maturity, but the UK one has taken strides forward, and I notice several developments since the New Year already.

So won't you be able to tell your fellow directors that the UK site needs to follow the example of the Irish one?

    I think Kazzea suggestion:
Also perhaps if the techie guys could find some way to show that we have points pending for certain offers (e.g.where they state that they will be added within 28 days) at least then we would know that Pigsback definitely had a record of us accessing the offer

Is an excellant one and would perhaps cut down emails to pigsback. ;)

    Darragh,

One suggestion I have is that when emails are replyed to the person who replies to make sure they are 100% sure they are correct or perhaps sometimes give members the benefit of the doubt.

My personal gripe is that after writing to pigsback to ask where my refer a friend points were (the person had already claimed their first vouchure) I was told that the friend didnt use the referal link. My friend however is completely sure that they did, as they hadn't even heard of the site before I sent the link so wouldnt have even known what the address was!

To be honest, I couldnt see the point in persuing the matter for 100 points, however reading through the forums on here, it appears that I am not alone and a lot of people are having difficulties having all sorts of points credited.

Perhaps it is a problem with the links registering, admin or something I don't know, but most certainly it is something that needs to be looked into as some people are trying to ensure they receive the points for items they have brought, which is where you will definately start to loose members if the problem isnt rectified.

I'm not moaning as I have been generally a happy member, but just thought for the progress of the company it should be looked into.

Oops meant to add the real point I wanted to make was that due to not being credited with my refer a friend points, and reading others experiences of not getting credit for points etc I havent had the faith in the system to actually purchase anything through the site, and have gone to other cashback sites that I feel are more reliable. I recently brought 6 tickets from ticketmaster, and even though I know it is one of your cashback sites, I decided that as the total bill was over £400 I didnt want to risk not getting the points. I'm sure I am not the only one, so its a really important thing to get right and give people the confidence to not only click through you, but to buy through you. I like the company a lot and would love to support it, but just dont have the confidence that at the moment things are reliable and too many mistakes are being made and unlike other companies there seems to be little benefit of the doubt in place for points to be credited to people who are sure they have used the link etc.
