Hi southernscouser, im not into soaps either, in any way shap or form, and youve just summed up the Beeb, because yep, your right, they would just have shown repeats!!!

There is a real lack of decent new program's on recently! I think it's about time we weren't forced to pay for sub-standard services! :D

So because you pay a tv license, as do we all, they have to put non-football, non-soap, non-car stuff, just to keep one person happy

im a woman and i like to watch football not every game but some games, and not everyone has cable or sky so the occasional game on bbc1 etc is a welcome change
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

We are watching Top Gear, we have seen it all before though, I don't watch football and Heartbeat winds me up because it's supposed to be set in the 60's but they bring in issues and PC claptrap that wouldn't have been thought of then. We got rid of Sky befoe Christmas so we only have the free to air channels via the Sky box. I think it might be going off after Top Gear.

  • Jesus must like football the amount of miraculous recoveries there are, one minute the player is on the ground in agony the next they are leaping up and down in excitement at the thought of the penalty the ref has given them for their overacting.
