Woolworths will hold its "biggest ever" sale on Friday with up to 50% off goods, Deloitte announced.
Mr Kahn said: "We will launch Woolworths' Biggest Ever Sale with discounts of up to 50% on all goods, except concessions.
"We anticipate increased footfall in the stores and have hired additional staff to cope with increased demand. Additional goods have been moved to all stores and further stock will be added in the coming days.
"There is continuing interest in the core Woolworths business and the sale will continue whilst potential buyers finalise their plans for the purchase of the business."
Highlights of the sale will include up to 50% off toys, 30% off Christmas trees and decorations, 50% off all greeting cards, 20% off personal gifts and reductions on all entertainment products.

It won't be online as its illegal for them to trade online whilst in their current situation. Thats why the site has been down since they went into administration.

Just been past my local Woolies and they have the up to 50% off signs up!

Walked past Woolies on my way home and the staff were putting up posters that said 50% of all stock so I'm definitely popping in tomorrow morning

just been into our woolies, late night shopping, there was a lot of staff around, moving stuff and filling up shelves, to me it just looked like woolies on a normal new year sale, when they bring stock in, homeware kind of stuff, saw bedding and pillows, half price

I hope im wrong though and you all grab some bargains

News travels fast up my end, went down to my local woollies and eyed up the stuff that I plan to purchase tomorrow, asked the staff if everything was half price, she said upto 50% and 10% off games.

I am going to one store, whilst my husband goes to another store. My husband reckons that he will be coming back with sack loads.

I will soon have my own toy shop with all these deals I keep getting, wish I never heard about this site. But hey its wicked
