    It was only about 4 inches - but was quite light and fluffy. With the temperature rising and it melting a bit it's down to about 2-3" but a lot denser.

    Some schools closed - some didn't. Was thinking about emailing this to the Highways Department though.

    A plough for snow..........:eek: but that might actually mean that people will be able to get around easier and we wont have our annual snow drama. How dare you suggest such a thing:D

    Evening all, and thank god Z is here. HELP ME. Ive just bought notebook (cheap one) with LINUX installed as the oprtting system. The problem is the mobile broadband dongle I Have plugged into it, it doesnt seem to recognise the installation files. Ive asked the question on the techie board, but does anyone know what I need to do to get it to work. SOrry to be so rude, but Im getting so frustrated now. Lenny

    The installation files will be for windows. Unless the dongle is compatible with Linux, then it isn't going to work.

    When you say "mobile broadband" do you mean as supplied by a mobile phone company?
