"No additional deposits after account is withdrawn" so bear that in mind when applying.
Good rate though.0 -
...with reduced interest rates 5.26% (variable) with floor of only 4% (not 5%) and only until 1st June (not 30th June) 2009

I applied

So will we get the old offer?!0 -
UPDATE:
Please note that this account is a limited edition and the Society reserves the right to withdraw the account at any time and return applications should the account become oversubscribed.
So its not looking good for those who applied for the original deal...
EDIT: I have emailed them asking for clarification on where we stand if we applied for the original offer. Will they honour the application or not? I will post results when I hear something.0 -
I printed the form before it dropped. It has the figure 5.51% on the form. Can I still send it in and get the higher rate?0

If & when I get a reply to my email you may have a better idea. I'd send them an emai if I were you. It might stop you wasting your time.
I have told them that if I cannot get the original offer then I wont be using them.0 -

Did you ask if you'd still be able to make deposits ("No additional deposits after account is withdrawn") if they do honour the original offer? Pretty useless otherwise unless you opened the account with a large deposit.0 -

For some people the minimum required 1000.00 initial investment is a large deposit.
