    Hi pchelpman,
    Read this thread with interest and like Anne I think (thought) I was pretty hot on keeping my computers clean/secure. However I did a "search" for a couple of the nastier .exe files u mentioned one of them being:

    C:\WINDOWS\kl.exe

    and on both my computers the search results came up with the following
    runtsckl. This appears to be a Trend Micro (Housecall)file so i am assuming it is ok but thought I would check with u.
