    Ive just this mo had a look its got Homepage default reset but not Hijacking rectification, I just couldnt understand the post that's all.... :beer:

    I had- or so I thought already deleted spywarestrike.exe and also O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - !!27150f81-0877-42e9-af13-55e5a3439a26} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp4F69.tmp but they're back again.

    Am going to install and run Eiwdo now. Shall I post log again after this?

    Adding that this is my teenage daughters pc and I'm sure them and their freinds have downloaded stuff that I don't know about

    ...is at the root of at least some of your problems. A Trojan downloader.

    Run Ewido then repost a fresh log.

    yep download ewido and run that in safe mode

    let it delete everything it finds then repost your log

    Leave the darn PC alone if its doing a scan how on earth can it
    do a proper scan if you are using it.. leave the thing alone and just have that
    program doing the scan only or you may get a false report.. :rolleyes:

    how are you running it properly if you are posting here ??

    in safe mode you cannot connect to the internet

    Ewido will NOT clean effectively if you have a browser open and are not in safe mode
