Just popped into my local Woolies, and there are a few bargains in the Xmas section. 3 rools of xmas paper was £4.99 now £1.00 and also on 3 for 2.

Just called my local store (Aberdeen) and they know nothing of a 50% sale??

Had my hopes on snagging a half price Nintendo DS..

Just been into our local woolworths and the staff have said in there that the 50% off is not across the range, and its only upto 50% off. The staff also hinted that only a few items will be 50% off and that will prob be some toys and clothes. The rest will be 10-20+30% off. Shame our one has no ds consoles or other expensive items left in stock and you would prob only get about 10-20% off anyway. So i will be giving it a miss. Hope its not going to be like this in every store. Hope some of you guys do find some bargains.

Went into woolies today.
There is half price on their toys already but not much on anything else.
Asked if there will be more things half price tmw but the staff dont seem to know it.

I've just been in my local one, picked up some bargains, little handy things and Christmas decorations.

I asked the salesman woman and she said she didn't know. Good job mine opens at 8.30 is a minute walk from work and I don't start til 9am!! Best go be nosey I think

In my local the worth it clothes have gone on bogof. Handy cos I needed to take some t-shirts back as they're too small. Walked out with roughly what I went in with (same amount of t-shirts) plus some change. Cue one happy woman.
