Can't see them reducing xboxes before xmas, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to find out tomorrow at 9am

Worth keeping an eye out in woolies I should think.
I'm not a vulture either I like live bargains not old dead ones :rolleyes:0 -
I think they might be selling some old stock off whatever. I was in yesterday and they had platforms, like for decorating or doing guttering etc. The price was £39.50 but they'd all been marked down to a fiver. No reduced labels like they usually have - £5 was just written on the box with a felt tip.0

No one mentioned anything to me today when I was in. But I also saw the message on HDUK and will pop by just in case. However I have already bought the things I really want, so if it does happen I'll think of it as my xmas bonus. Have to exchange a few things anyway.....might have to go up tomorrow now just in case it all sells out by Friday.
Edit: if any consoles are reduced at any point in the future I hope that woolies staff get there first. not that I don't want one....but I think they deserve if after having this news just before xmas.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
I cant see stuff being reduced to a £1 or even 50% off as they wouldnt have any stock left as it said in the papers that the administrators want woolies to trade past christmas(is that right)0

Yeah I read that too, but they also said the website would continue selling games dvds etc and thats disappeared now so who knows? Personally I doubt consoles etc will be included but who knows. I wish we had a BIG W near us now!0

On saturday i got a bargain in woolies. Fake fur throw, size double, in beige was £40 down to £20 but then when i got to the checkout it was down to £12. It'll certainly keep me warm during the cold spell.
But then last friday my friend managed to buy 24 of the "paint your own mugs" (for our brownies) for only £16. They were £1 each but still on the 3 for 2 offer.
happy shopping! xEve

Thanks Woolieworker1.
Now all we need is the forecast snow not to be around on Friday.

I'm a vulture. Going to have a look in Woolies tomorrow then to M&S to see what's good in the 20% off. Then to work on my day off for the free christmas dinner.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
