There once was a case some 3,4 years ago that involved the wonderful Daily Express £10 cruise offer for everyone and the forum that was opened IS called holidaytruths.com when everyone who had entered into thier promotion were discussing the failure of the D.E to honour the promotional offer and i believe that the D.E had the site closed down for some time,im not exactly sure of the reason but i think it was because people were posting thier annoyance at the D.E just ignoring what was rightfully thiers,i know a lot of these people succssessfully took the D.E to the small claims court and won(myself included:D)some 5 years later,it does go to show that the big boys really think that they can just "bully & try to frighten" people, glad to say that the site STILL remains open to this day for that dwindling band of people who just gave up the fight,so if anyone here knows anyone who lost out on this promotion...just search out that forum..its worth it!(you could still win through)or perhaps someone is in the know as to the reason why it was closed for a time?Anyway Alexis i dont think that even the mighty Parking Eye would take on the MSE...have they "won"anything yet?
Sorry about the earlier mistake of using the word"fines"in my previous post:rotfl:0 -

The biter bit. I think they call it karma.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Shame the article mentions "fines" when they are nothing of the sort. Lazy journalism once again.0

These firms remind of a cross between a "quango" and "workers"..........I have shortened this to an easier "quan-kers".Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0

The article doesn't say what they are being done for. Anyone any ideas??

There was no need to respond to them but what is done is done.
