I offloaded a 55,000-mile Hyundai last year. Every started to break - radiator, head gasket, shocks, you name it. Figured it was cheaper to buy a newer car.

It was 13 years old admittedly. Still, a 61,000-mile Hyundai can't have more than 3 or 4 years left in it can it?

course it can,these cars are very reliable. parts readly available. I know someone who has an accent with over 100,000 on the clock and only ever had minor probs. They are good sturdy cars. Thats why they are ideal womens cars.

First bad report I've heard. Mind you anyone can end up with a duffer and it can also depend on many things ie maintenance, way it was driven etc

it doesn't matter, the coupe to me will always seem a womans car just coz of the style, but from what I can see you have a good buy there. It isn't nessesarly a wmans car.

Hope you don't mind taking car advice off a woman, OH is a mechanic car nut, so over the years unfortunatly i have learned a thing or twelve :rolleyes:
