I emailed e7even today, didn't get a ticket, but got an email back after 2 and half hours stating this. I phoned home and said try the internet and was told it's working.

After being offline for the whole weekend............. this morning I was able to connect, wonder for how long?
I have asked for my MAC is it correct that I cannot migrate to another iSP until I receive it?

E7 are having problems obtaining MACs from their network provider so the quickest way to leave may be to cancel the service altogether and sign up with a new ISP from scratch.
The problems with this method are that you'll be without internet for a while during the switch (hopefully less than 2 weeks) and you'll be liable for any setup charges made by the new ISP, though many will waive this if you sign up for 12 months.
Obviously this doesn't help the financial side of the equation. You have my sympathy as I'm in exactly the same situation - E7 contract runs to October but I'm tempted to get out now and swallow the cost / claim back from E7 or my credit card provider :mad:
