E7even - service. (merged threads)

I'm aware that E7even are owned (or run) by Netservices PLC.
I believe that Netservices are also responsible for:
v21.co.uk
firefly.co.uk
fast.co.uk
fast24.co.uk
mygb.net
silvermead.net
Has anyone on these ISPs been having the same problems as e7even? Are they the same network? What is the relationship between the VISPs?
If you do get a MAC or out of e7even even - be wary of the possibility that you may be signing up for another one of their VISPs.
One recommendation on ADSL guide is to only sign up for ISPs that have signed the OFCOM Code for Voluntary Migrations as it appears that none of the Netservices PLC group ISPS have signed it.
Best of luck to all you e7eveners!0 -
E7 are a customer of Netservices, buying some of their customer's ADSL services from Netservices. If your login username ends with @bbuk, then you are on Netservices.WebJunkie007 wrote:I'm aware that E7even are owned (or run) by Netservices PLC.
They also resell Tiscali (if your username ends @e7broadband.com) and Easynet LLU (your username will end @e7even.com) services.0 -

There's definitely some very interesting reading there... :shocked:Antagony wrote:
Whilst this information is available in the public domain, in the interests of MSE I would advise against reproducing any of it here. Although they have provided indications how to access the information, ISP Review themselves have been very careful not to draw any conclusions from it.
Expect a lively discussion on ADSLGuide.0 -
no internet e7 connection for most of the weekend

Seems like it is getting worse...0 -
I do… there’s already some interesting information there.paul_h wrote:Expect a lively discussion on ADSLGuide.
Weird thing… I’m sure it’s purely a coincidence but I was just about to post ^ this reply to you when my connection dropped (e7even dial-up, because I’m still without ADSL and have been for over a week now) and it wouldn’t re-connect. I’ve had to create a dial-up account with UK-Online to get back on t’interenet.-Ant0 -
Well, everything's still OK here...
It still baffles me why some users have such had a diabolical time with E7, whilst for me the past 3 months have passed almost without incident. Even other users on the same realm as me (@e7broadband.com) have been expecting major problems, so it's not restricted to any particular groups of users.
I just hope that this news doesn't precipitate anything more serious... :think:0 -
so e7 are also too stupid to isolate the problem and target the solution to those affected.paul_h wrote:Well, everything's still OK here...

also, lucky all of you who have had an ok connection and will be receiving two months free internet while everyone else have suffered immensely. e7 should perhaps only give compensation to those affected - and give them more than just two measly months.0 -
Probably about sums it up, or perhaps there's nobody left working there...bubbles2007 wrote:so e7 are also too stupid to isolate the problem and target the solution to those affected.
There was discussion of this on ADSLGuide, and I would have to agree with you. A two month extension seems scant compensation for the abysmal service some have received. Having said that, most of the affected people just want their MAC and a refund.bubbles2007 wrote:also, lucky all of you who have had an ok connection and will be receiving two months free internet while everyone else have suffered immensely. e7 should perhaps only give compensation to those affected - and give them more than just two measly months.
Don't misunderstand me, just because my BB is working, I'm in no way lending support to E7 - I know what problems there are, and the way they have treated their customers is frankly appalling.0 -

well I was like you that is until yesterday, my broadband has been down and out. I have no connectivity, I am at work now.
My username is @e7boadband.com, seems like things are getting bad to worse.
