Going to woolies on Monday, I hope there'll be some stuff left  HAVE to get Bratz tour bus for DD1 Brooke, am on the lookout for other Bratz stuff too, both my girls are distraught that Bratz toys are to be taken off the shelves after xmas. Brooke especially has decided she needs more bratz stuff on her xmas list now which kinda throws a spanner in the works as I had it all planned out.....but I wont have another chance to get her this stuff so I need to have a re-think

Well I haven't achieved a great deal today as have been in bed/ on sofa most of the day under the covers feeling grotty with a nasty cold. Did manage to get out to Homebase as DS was doing packing there with beavers, so we ended up buying the tree from there and also got 3 lots of lights (up to 75% off there) for the trees outside

Spent the evening catching the x factor after helping the family get all the christmas stuff out of the loft. Hubby was not so impressed at how much stuff was up there!! I have sale pressies up there plus lights, decs and all the christmas books, some dvd's, and lots of Christmas kitchen bits!!! Even Christmas kitchen roll and tissues (bought in the sales of course!!)

Tomorrow I have to go through it all and sort it out!!

Glad to see you back on here PML.

I think us Chrimbo bingo gals did really well and I have had some fab stuff from all the companies!! Been on quidco today trying to do some clicks for more money as I'm trying this money neutral thing!!!

Thanks everyone for keeping me going tomorrow I must make my Christmas cake it only keeps for about 4 weeks and i made it last year has lots of whisky in it so will do it again!!

Off to bed (early night for nasty cold)

    Hugs to all xxx
  • Have finished the dec's, vaxed the dining room and hallway and watched X Factor lol:D
Dog's are driving me nuts, they keep attempting to eat our artificial trees!!!:rotfl:
Great aunt is sending me money for Xmas but TBH i really don't want it because i know it's not her money!! And after everything that has happened between us all, she still has no remorse for what she heas done in the past:mad:
Will give the money to mum, she is the one who needs it most ad she's the one who's keeping the roof above our heads!!!:T
Think i'm slowly doing everything i need to do, going down the jobcentre on monday with mum as i need the moral support!:o
I really have got to stop eating the Christmas sweeties as there won't be any left!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Still 19 days to go:j Have no idea what OH is getting me, i think i might leave him a few hints on the things i would like:D hahaha:rotfl:
I'll keep you updated just as long you don't mind me whinging and bleating about my day to day life:rotfl: haha:rotfl: If you do please someone gag me or shut me up with a bar of dairy milk caramel (or dolly beads) I won't mind:D It works a treat:rotfl:
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

SugaJen - Have you tried Matalan or Home Bargains for Bratz stuff? I think last time I was in these stores they had Bratz stuff reduced considerably compared to other places :)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

    Morning everyone!

Next week is the busiest yet for me - really looking forward to it!
    • Monday - night out with the girls
    • Tuesday - looking after friend's little girl for the day
    • Wednesday - DD1's play in the afternoon and her last time at Rainbows in the evening - I've got to provide food for a party
    • Thursday - Santa comes to our local hotel with gifts for all the kids
    • Friday - another girls' night out!
    • Saturday - DD1 goes to panto with Rainbows
    • Sunday - my side of the family's Christmas party at my mum's house - again got to take food to that!
In between that there is all the usual day to day stuff like swimming and dancing lessons and I'm trying to settle DD2 into nursery fo when she goes properly after New Year. She's been a bit shy about going and doesn't like me leaving her!

pinkladymel and furrypig - hope you are both feeling better - at least you can get it out your systems and hopefully be well for Christmas day.

sugajen - good luck with the Bratz stuff - I struggled but my DD1 was very specific about which doll she wanted!

chocolate.orange - sorry to hear about the car - that is such a rubbish thing to happen.

sugarspun - congratulations - keep those feet up now!

Right - off to MILs today to pick up DD1 who has been staying with her this weekend. Hopefully go out for a nice lunch somewhere. MIL wanted to go to the big shopping centre near her - but I told her I thought it would be mobbed today. What's the point of doing your Christmas shopping early only to be dragged to the shops on the busiest day of the year when you don't have to?!! I'd much rather be in a cosy pub having some lovely food and a sneaky glass of wine!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Love
    Gill
