    Welcome to all newbies!! :D

Just a quick post with some pictures of my Christmas Journal so far... please bear in mind I am PinkLadyMel's poor relation when it comes to scrapbooking so my pages look every so slightly like a 5 year old has done them! I get a bit glitter happy!! :o Sorry for the ridiculous size i dont know how to re-size them!

Page 1 - a cosy night in. Feel something is missing from this page but havent worked out what yet! Made with my new trimcraft papers!!

    cosynight.jpg

Page 2....all about memories, but working on a 6x4 canvas is QUITE hard so had to be a bit creative... looking a bit boring but wait!.....
    memoriespage.jpg

So because I wanted more than 1 memory, I have made 'cards' up basically put my photo that I want to write the memory about on a piece of card, decorated that and written the journalling here is card #1

    memorycard1.jpg

And then that merrily slots into the pocket I made on the page...

    memorypagetogether.jpg

And I can slot a few more cards and memories in there ...when I find the photos!! :D

    Beautiful stuff Jamtart!

I'm still feeling really grotty and looking quite unattractive in pj's, dressing gown, scarf and socks with a blanket on the sofa next to the fire.

The room is a complete state as all the Christmas stuff came down from the loft but i don't have the energy to go through it all and sort it out!

DD, DS and DH have done agreat job on our big Christmas tree that was bought yesterday and also we have a little fake tree and that's all decorated too. I will have to put the reat of the dec's up around the room when I get more energy!!

At least I'm the only one with the lurgy and I hope the kids don't get it!!!

Well done to everyone on being organised, I went on quidco yesterday and signed up for some newsletters to get the money!! Every penny counts I guess!!
  • hi all,
just popped in to say hello, not had a chance to read the previous pages yet but count me in. Would love to save more money by careful budgeting, shopping in sales, collecting points etc. but never been very dedicated, think this would help me loads with tips and motivation. never done the cash back sites or ebay yet so im a 'thread virgin'. Any help , tips and suggestions gratefully received. Also want to be truly organised for all birthdays, events and xmas 2009. be the first time in my life if i get that organised.
thanks pinkladymel for sending me here x

    Hi Guys and Gals,

Think I will be joining you from now on. I have all this years xmas sorted and have even done most of my grandma and mums christmas present shopping for them along they way. However this year I plan to be even more organised and start even earlier, now. I already have a couple of bits in.

Need to sort through all the drawers and wardrobes tonight though as I am running out of space in my lil house x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
