Hi all
What a day ..christmas has been on hold today. Someone decided that DS car needed more ventilation  they put 2 bricks through the windows of it. The back window and the drivers window. So its been a day for attempting to get glass out of the car.Youngest DS had to have the day off school,so missed Christmas craft day and now because the windows are not fixed until late tomorrow. He has to miss a football match that he had free tickets for.Over a thousand pounds of damage to his car. Some people are just so horrible.
Its been a sad day. Youngest DS (9)has declared that hes just had enough..
I need to try to get some Christmas magic back here.
Okay enough doom and gloom from me.
Off to drink some Christmas spirit
jammy i will have a look at that row later when i get a minute to sit downfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Thanks everyone ...
I'm incredibly bored so far and it's been about seven hours since I went to bed. Another week of this is going to drive me insane. But so long as it keeps the beastie where I left it it's ok.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

How awful! Some people are just so thoughtless and lacking in brain cells. It was probably some kind of prank that was thought 'fun' at the time, or maybe someone was jealous of your son having the car or something. There is no excuse for criminality like this.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Aww thanks gals ... first time i have smiled today. I am sure DS will feel better when the glass is back in tomorrow and the bodywork is fixed. His car was his pride and joy. Also our only household transport
On the upside though its kicked my butt into gear to re insuring my car.. Back on the road on Monday... So not very MS But after it being off the road for 28 months i thought i should
Tomorrow is another day ...Back on track to christmas in the morningIts awful i feel like i have wasted a whole day
Jammy do you know my youngest DS ? We often say he is 19 not 9 :rotfl:
Back to watching i am a celebrity whilst looking at PLMels' email prompts. Some of them are beautiful !! They are helping me get back in a happy mood.furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

sugarspun - you need a laptop to play on in bed!!! take care chick. are you not allowed out of bed at all???
choccy- they actually caught the gits that broke into mine. got a slap on the wrist, taken to court and ordered to pay me £200 compensation. I've had £2.62 from the little git and my car was broken into 6 years ago in January. I got a letter asking if I wanted to persue the claim as god love him, he was on benefits and couldn't afford to pay me the 50p a week agreed as he only gor £47 benefit a week. Never heard a thing since (and I said I wanted to persue it just on principal). Absolute swines, they know how to play the system. I was 17 at the time and at work while it happened...working for £2.50 an hour like a decent person and had to pay for my repairs. It makes me SO mad! Poor big DS i do feel sorry for him! Youngest DS sounds quite amusing. I love kids that have old heads on them. My niece is like that, since she was 4 she's been a hoot. She once asked her Dad to come with her somewhere, he refused and she said "will I just get Mum to come and kick your butt then!!" out of the mouths of babes (+ too much nickelodeon!!)
E-mail prompts are GORGE! Have made mine of the 'perfect cosy night in' with a pic of my tree. My page looks nothing like I wanted it to again but never mind!!

ooh sorry wasnt me - i'm rubbish with technology stuff! its just taking me 5 hours to order my photo xmas cards online!!!!!!!:eek: am confused now! lol
congrats sugarspun - take care - it'll b worth it
Sorry Roxie
I misunderstood (it doesn't take much!!) I've just realised that emails telling me that someone has replied to my subscribed threads mean general replies, not to me!! And you thought you were bad with techy things!!
Someone please help!! How do I keep track of where I've read to in favourite threads - it's taking ages to trawl through things I'm sure I've read before! Thanks,
Chris0 -
I have been very passive to this site and this thread seems like the best place to start being active. :hello:
Well this year has been very tight and although i have done part of my money neutrals through ebay there is still lots of room for improvement!
Seen people tlking about quidco, where is it? I think i need to join as i do alot of shopping online.
Really need to be organised in 2009 as its going to be 'my year' for everything to get better so to start i have got DD's & DS's birthday presents sorted already for november 2009 (bargains at elc + codes from the threads) :j
So next is the note book idea i think, kids got me a filofax for christmas (its wrapped still) and so that will be filled with christmas 2009 to get me prepared and also other prezzie time too. Also been getting small childrens presents in sales when i see them for DD's parties (will have DS's too next year so better getting buying in the sales).
Anyway, thanks for the thread, look forward to being money neutral in 2009 - with your help!! :T
Good luck to everyone else too!:A
Happy christmas:santa2:0
