hope you have a lovely time furrypig! :D

well, we've just had a bit of a bonus, money-wise! OH works for an agency at the moment and when he got laid off (AGAIN! :( ) in october we took all the money owed in holiday pay to cover the bills etc.

anyway, he then found another job quite quickly with them, which he's still in now and they're loking to make permanent in january :)

he phoned the agency this morning to see if he gets paid for xmas day and boxing day and she just phoned back to say that no he doesn't, as the government changed the law so that instead of 20 days holiday +xmas day and boxing day, it's a standard 24 days to be taken whenever.

we thought he hadn't accrued much holiday since he'd been made redundant, but she said it's 5 weeks, plus the 3 weeks til xmas. and to work out how many hours he's owed, we add up the hours he's worked (and will be working) from 24th oct til xmas eve, and times is by 10.17%.

which gave us....... just over 37 hours!!! almost a whole week's wages!! yes yes yesss! :D talk about relief!!! :D

and his firm have offered him a few days' cleaning over the 2 weeks shut-down over xmas, so we'll be getting a wage aswell which is fab!

so so releived, i can't tell you :D

I know I keep harping on about Cake Wrecks blog, but its so funny. The woman who blogs puts professional cakes from companies on there, that have gone very badly wrong for a multitude of reasons. Here is todays offering...Christmas cakes....have a look and tell me if Rudolph looks like a dog....

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

    Lol
I cant do ebay - I think I'm going to do the charitable thing and take them down to a charity shop.

I just found a folding file thing which will do nicely for me to put receipts and such in
(and Ive binned all the stuff my ex gave me - which feels strangely good )
