Just wanted to pop in as i have just had some really good news which means i will definately be debt free this year!
My biggest creditor have agreed to a F&F settlement figure of £1,835 so next week my debt will nearly half.
Outstanding was £6,119.
Will update once its paid but just wanted to tell someone.

broken hearted I have nearly paid off half of my debt just waiting for dd to clear on the 18th of this month then i will be over the half way mark. I think it may be touch and go whether I clear all my debt by 2009 but at least i will be facing 2010 with less than 500 worth of debt. I'm glad that I have read this thread I'm also doing my best to completely pay all the debts and hopefully by August or September 2009 I'm free from debts and can save a lot because we are planning to purchase our own house.
