Hi Mizmir,
Can I join please - I have £18.5k that I'm aiming to clear by Christmas 20090 -
Hey all!!
Yeah I defo like to join in!!
My estimated day of freedom is 1st March 2009 when Il have (fingers crossed) wittled my debts of £7500 to zero!!! Its taken me so long but reading so much positive energy on this site has def helped me overcome some of the hardest times I will probably ever encounter. Im 26 and finally feel my life is going in the right direction and I can guarantee you I will never let myself get into so much debt ever again, I used to be so lose with money as if it would burn a hole in my pocket, now Im super tight always on the look out for bargains and generally doing things in a very different way which I really enjoy, Im always looking for ways to make money so I can contribute to my stupid debt!!
I wish everyone all the very best in their journey to becoming deft free as I know it can be such a painful experience that feels like it will never come to an end, it takes dedication but can be overcome.

) so thats £61.80 off....
As for how I'm going to do it..... hmmmm, haven't figured that out just yet!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Well done sarahneedle - I've updated the total!
How to do it is an interesting one isn't it?! I've joined hypno's £20K by Xmas 2009 challenge so hopefully there'll be ideas there. Most of mine will come from better management of income - plus extras that I get from dog training part-time and odd bits of extra work. I used to make a good amount from matched betting but have not done any in a while so may get back into that in the new year. And of course there is always ebay and amazon!0 -
Oooooh I want to be debt free in 2009 but for me it depends on FF, so as much as I will be watching you all I don't feel I can commit, sigh...Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0
