  • Hey - I'd like to join!

I'm hoping to be debt free by September 2009 of £6022.91 debt

My first aim is May 09 to be clear of CC's - £3572.91.

I'm hoping to do this with less spending and earning more... however I've also put in a PI claim which I'm hoping some money back from, My bank charges have been waiting for aagggggeeeesssss... but fingers crossed something comes of that in the new year ;)

Also sent of to try and reclaim my charges from my Abbey Card - once I've attacked that then I'll be doing the same with the rest of them as well... one a month though as there's the £10 charge for getting all the details..

Anyhow hope 2009 is everyone's year and that we find lots of ways to get our debt down much faster :)

Have added you Elizabeth and determinedtodothis - put you down as the figure in your sig - let me know if this isn't right.

So far over £180K of debt to shift between us - but since we have almost cleared £1K in a few days I am sure we will do it! :D

Just had some expenses clear as well so following Dex's example have paid off a card - £400 down!

    Well done Mizmir!!:D

    Feels good doesn't it!!!

I can't believe my credit card is nearly the same as my next balance!!! am now determined to clear them both by my mortgage renewal so I will only have the one credit card left!!

Although my next challenge will be to save 9,000 as I want to have a good chunk in the bank should something bad happen!

Really looking forward to all my debt being done so then I can really see how much money I have each month!:j
