Thanks mizmir! Actually I think I would be happy if I cleared half of it so that I am not paying interest through the nose!

Count me in! I've got about £5000 to clear, which I hope to do by Summer 2009. Once I've cleared the debt I will start saving to move to Australia for a year. Happy Chick, it sounds like we have exactly the same plan! When do you plan to go?

I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel. My cc balance is going over to 0% soon, and my overdraft is decreasing steadily. I start a new job in January, the + is more money, pension scheme, slightly nearer to home. The - is that I'll be going from being paid weekly to being paid monthly. So January will be tough!

Welcome slig! Move to Oz sounds like a wonderful incentive!
  • Oh can I join?

I currently have £1389.85 on my Cap 1 Credit card, and I want it gone ASAP - but my target will be when DS2 starts Preschool in September.

I know its not as much as some of you, but I am a SAHM and not having to pay £70 a month will mean much more fun for my three little monsters.

Good luck everyone, I find these support great, and so motivational!

Sounds as though there will be an awful less paid in interest in 2009 - oh what a shame :rotfl::p:rotfl:
