Patronising to some, perhaps useful to others. It is Martin's advice afterall. I've deleted the offending posts, and will leave you to your fun challenge

I'm much better now - had to have a tooth out and have now seen Ear Nose & Throat Specialist who has referred me to a Speech Therapist. Should be seeing them in the new year. Have actaully managed to teach fro 2 1/2 hours this morning without losing my voice so that is an improvement.

looking forward to breaking up next week and then flying to USA for 2 weeks to stay with my sister.!!!!!

    I'm a policeman.
So if we polled your colleagues would we find that they would all go running into the carpark to return the woman's 5note ?

Yeah they would. Do not even attempt to start an arguement. You obviously have a problem with police. I personally would not have taken the £5. You posted on here, expect to receive some critisism.

Hi all, added a few pennies today:D it all helps. I only put 1p's,2p's and 10p's in my pot, 20p's go in a pot that for the first half of the year is for holiday fund and then becomes xmas treats. 5p's are saved as every christmas most of the family (at least 17 of us!) go for a meal and swap secret santa prezzies, £2 coins go in a pig for emergency fund and if its not needed paid off someting at the end of the month. I love the sealed pot challenge:j

At an absolute minimum it should have been handed in at Customer Services -- and I'd have watched them log it into their lost & found book. If/when that person realises what they've done they'll no doubt contact Tesco to ask about it.

Yes I once did follow a man across a car park as he had left something behind. i just couldn't live with myself if I didn't do my best to get something back to someone if it was left. Not so much a money thing but the type of people we are. My children have all been brought up the same and my son once got a mention in the local paper for biking to some ones house with a lost purse with money in. And yes I am extremely proud of him.

Hi Sue, and everybody. I'll happily join. I was going to wait until 01/01/09 to start but whilst in the town centre a nice old lady must've found a 5p on the ground. She passed it to me and said "for good luck" :)

Oh and a £500 target for me also.
