A really warm welcome to the thread SammyB. It's great to meet you. :D Enjoy yourself here and have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1, it's a good idea to put it on your signature and certainly helps me to help you at the end of the year. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries.

Aha, hello there Kas! What can I say?! Ah, not to worry, you obviously needed it for the car and house insurance and it was money YOU saved after all. The main thing is that you didn't need to put it on a card so I'm not worried at all, just pleased for you to be honest. Off you go again, you've a fair time to save so good luck! :D

Hi rosepink, you're not butting in at all, I'm just so pleased that Stunty was here for you. He's a great chap and will help you all he possibly can, though I do hope you're wrong about the possible scamming.

Hi there Stunty! A great time for you to drop in, rose is in good hands now for sure. Lucky you on the roadkill, though my dear DH picked up 5p last week! Good to know where you are and that all's well.

Good luck this time round Helen and even if you only put pennies in now and again, it's money saved that wouldn't otherwise have been and is a Godsend come Christmas! All the best.

Keep saving all and look forward to the end of tomorrow for the start of the weekend!

I got quite lapse about putting change in my pot, not least as I've stopped shopping several times a week and try to manage without topping up. So... aware that I have a goal of £500 and not going to make it, I've slipped a note or two in, whenever I have been to the cashpoint machine. This should give the pot a boost and hopefully will be spending money when I go on holiday.

Hello hello... is it ok if I join?

We kind of have a system going at the moment, but we regularly dip intoit for takeaways etc so it's not working as it should! It will be awesome to add to it and actually save with a target in mind! My target is £250 by 7th Jan 2010, so exactly 5 months!

Just a quick one folks as my PC is going up the creek again with the cursor running about all over the page and the entire page leaping up and down. Best be off before this lot goes!

    Have a great weekend folks!
