    Afternoon everyone,
It's very quiet on here at the mo, I guess you're all out working or enjoying the sunshine. Another 2 gold coins in my pot, plus another 4p in road change.

Catch you all later folks, enjoy the sun

    Hello everyone,
Sorry I've been away for such a long time. My time isn't my own at the moment. I do hope you're all continuing to save. I certainly am. Been working very hard lately and it's definitely starting to pay off in terms of getting the debt reduced. Hoping to have it paid off this year and then I can start reducing the balance on the mortgage. Yippeee!!
I haven't read all the posts obviously (I'd be here all month) but it seems that Sparky and Sue are still keeping everyone in line. :)

    Morning focus888,
It's only 10p, but it's 10p more than you had before, don't beat yourself up! ;) Listen as a sideline for £10 I can send a couple of boys round to do the beating up :p (only kidding :D) honestly, anything you put in your pot is a bonus :D

Thank you :) i must admit i cheated and took 50p out for something but i thought im still being good because i would rather take the 50p and then repay it later than purposely go out and break a £10 note just to use 50p iygwim lol

anyway adding £2.20 to my pot today :jstole it from the bf lol
  • hi everyone nothing for eeyore today but £60 in house fund. nuala buala i knit and im only 34 lol. iv been knitting all my life i could knit before i could write. but then mum and grandma used to knit childrens, babys and dolls clothes and sell them at an indoor market stall for years so it was inbred into us lol. i was actually looking at tea cosies in a boutique shop (silly prices) and wondering if i could copy one they are super trendy right now (think kath kidston) it was white cotton with strawberrys and leaves gorgeous only prob is i dont have a teapot.

    :hello: Hi everyone,
Well looks like we have a lot of knitters on here myself included:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If we all knitted a square just think how big a blanket would be??? It would be big enough to hide me counting my money:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

With nearly 700 savers I really pity the banks in December!!!!!

Had a lovely day today kids really enjoyed themselves took them home full of sand from the sandpit , smelling of suncream and ice cream and worn out . All the parents had to do was bath them and put them to bed!!!

There's nothing like hugs from kids that are warm and sleepy.

Well I'm off to bed . Nite everyone sleep well x LC 2

    Hiya LC2,
Sounds like you've had a lovely day ;). Know what you mean about the banks on Dec 1st. Luckily I've found a HSBC with a coin counter that I can empty my pot into, that'll frighten them . Have a good nights sleep, catch you tomorrow, goodnight :D

Only just oops, only just! So good to see you, worth waiting for. Well done on getting ahead with the debt reduced. I really do hope this year CAN see the start of the mortgage being reduced.

Not at all sure I.m.hart, but let's have a guess at.....maybe around £150. Difficult to say, but keep on saving them hard and you could have a lovely surprise come December!

That sounded so beautiful LC 2, oh for those times all over again. I used to love it when ours had a really great day and were so tired at the end of it. The Baths, that lovely kiddie smell and watching them drift off afterwards was utter bliss. I could watch sleeping kiddies all night long, such a great privilege. I'm getting all reminiscent and mooshy now, must press on!:)

Bad luck Lost2, you should maybe have told him to ....get Lost2!!:rotfl:

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and lap up the great weather.

Sue. New friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP.
