  • Not posted on here for ages, been busy with uni work and exams, so thought I would pop in to say hi :hello:. I'm still putting loose change in my pot, I even found a nice shiny £2 coin the other day in my bedside draw, so in the pot it went. I dought that I will reach my £500 target but what ever I do save is going towards new carpet for my lounge.

    Hi everyone

Not been here in a long time, but just popped in to say am making progress with my jar. 50ps and £2 coins only and I still head to the ATM machine rather than use the £2 coins on the rare occasion I run out of money :D

I've no idea how much I've saved but the coffee jar is filling up nicely. It's just at the half-way mark now and I'm hopeful I'll fill it up by December :j:j

    See you soon

£1 for each pot today, if I manage to sell a book today to the person at work who wanted it I shall have another £4, which pot 3 shall claim. A friend of mine came over and said 'oooh terramundi's, are you saving for all your Christmas food?' Which I'm not, but if I get another Terramundi..... Is it too sad to have 4? I can't afford to go out or eat....I have terramundi's to feed!

            Hi Everyone

Not posted for ages - £4 in £2 coins going in today and some other shrapnel. OH emptied his pocket the other day and added £1.20. I'm glad he's getting in the spirit. The tin is nearly full:j:j:j

I have marked Dec 1 in my diary as a date with the tin! Will probably have to get OH to help with the counting.
