Morning all. It's another sunny day in London.:j

I had a lovely weekend with my friend and managed to put a fair few golden coins in my pottie by Sunday. I don't want to think about how much money I spent though. eeek!

I also got a ton of £2 coins yesterday, so 4 went into the pottie this morning.:D

Some good news...I won the competition that you all voted for me on mydeco:beer: So should get some lovely things for my house soon.

Also - OH's guitar case turned up today. It was full of cobwebs:eek::eek::eek: I know it's 50 years old - but really - the dealer could have cleaned it:mad: Seriously, it looks like junk, I can't believe my pottie is paying for it, and am now very nervous that OH will say I've been diddled.:o:o:o But as they say it's the thought that counts.:D

I know a fair bit has happend while I've been away, Jess I'm sure it won't be long before someone else comes along. :AWhere has Stunty run away to? He's been AWOL for over a week. Also where's Reb gone - she's supposed to be feeding that piggy-wig that I sent her.

Hallo to the rest of you, and Sue, LC2, Elsie.:hello:

Thanks, feel better, but got told off by boss for coming back too early, bless him. Isn't the world a slightly different place when you've been housebound for days, it's like blinking in the light. Anyway 50p for charity pot and not-so-shiny £1 for 'our' pot today.

Been busy decorating for a friend and when I get home not only do I have no change, cos I haven't spent, to put in my pig. I also have no energy to come on here.

            Must be getting old.

Don't worry though LC, my little pig will not only be heavier than yours. IT WILL ALSO HAVE MORE MONEY IN THAN YOURS! :p Thanx! LOL!

Glad you had a good time away!
I don't get to come on here too often.

            Hi everyone.

Well is today going to be my lucky day?...:j .This morning when I was getting ready to go to work, I found a £1 coin in a jacket I hadn't worn for a couple of weeks, and then when I got to the bus stop........there it was.......a nice shiny 5p. Now given my last episode with money in the bus shelter, I was very careful this time, I circled around it a couple of times and then prodded it with my shoes, and lo and behold it moved, so with no more ado it went in my pocket. So today I have bought a lottery ticket to see if I can make it 3 things today.:T

I must just confess to not picking up 2 x 1p coins yesterday.:o Now there is a reason for this, I was on the escalator on my way to work and just as I got to the top, there were 2 coins on the floor, it really niggled me, but I darn't stop to pick them up because there were loads of people behind me and I had a vision of me bent over and everyone making like a consertina as they crashed into my bum.... ....and believe me it would have been a crash....I am a size 16...erm ok.....size 18 so there is a lot of behind to crash into.:eek: So Sparky, sorry to let you down on that roadkill, but I am ever on the lookout.

Have a good day everyone, and well done LC on the competition.:T

          7. Evening all, sorry about the going AWOL stuff. Had a manic time on dark shifts in work and then the laptop and broadband decided ti die!

However I'm still here! plenty of shrapnel in the jar, both from my pockats and the roadkill i've found.

Never mind Jess, it's his loss not yours and we all have to have our first break up!
