I'm already wondering how I'm going to use all this change in my sealed tin, the banks only take 5 bags at a time so it would be a lot of visits and so I'd have to carry round loads of change to do my christmas shopping. What did people do last year and what ideas have people got for using it all this year? I've decided anything over my target is going to buying me a lovely new Orla Kiely bag, I'm sure Little Chicken would agree with me!!
I took my bags to several different banks and changed them for notes. No problem:D

Have to admit I'm wondering if I set my sights too high with the filling the bottle aim, considering revising my aim to a smaller pot and if I fill it going for regular banking trips but keeping it in a separate bank account so I dont spend it. Will be thinking about that while I wait to see if I get the bar job.

I have already done this - one tin was full and the other was too heavy to move so I bagged it up and banked it in a separate account and have started again in a new tin. Plus I am with HBOS and they are fairly strict with the 5 bags a day rule.

I also don't like the thought of having a lot of cash lying around the house. Last year I didn't do sealed pot but I put any extra cash I got in a money box and kept it for Christmas and really worried about it.

I feel happier doing it this way - means my money isn't sealed in the true meaning of the word but I certainly have no plans to dip into it so in that regard it is sealed!
