Went to the local pub on Friday night and came home with pockets full of change (bad SA was meant to be saving the pennies not drinking them!) but two nice £2 coins which Ive put in the pot for gold coins - not officially saving them as we always need change at work so I'll swop them for a £20 note when I have enough and put that in the bank.

Just a quick update, have added £1.65 plus paper money today and a few odds n sods last week. I've decided i'm going to open my tin next month and deposit it in my isa for the interest plus its almost full. I know it wont be much, but anything is better than nothing, plus temptation is getting the better of me:p , then i'll start a new tin.
